Romanian branch of the Bosch Group, one of the leading global providers of technology and services for automotive, industrial technology, consumer goods and construction.

Project

The collaboration with Bosch started in 2006 with a project that was intended to help Bosch's distributors to send and organize information in the processes of "Commissioning" and "Warranty" for the Bosch products. The application is used by over 100 distributors and it was also implemented in Buderus, a company acquired by Bosch Romania.

Over time, Arnia developed many applications for Bosch to help optimize processes within the company:

  • Intrastat – an application that extracts data from the ERP and reports it to the Intrastat system in Romania (which replaced reporting declarations of VAT with the entry of Romania in the European Union)
  • Application for the management of Bosch promotions
  • Timesheet application used by Bosch employees
  • Data reporting applications
  • Resource Management Application

Also, the solutions we developed for Bosch Romania have been implemented in other Bosch subsidiaries in Hungary, Bulgaria, and Russia.

Results and benefits

The solutions we built and implemented contributed to the processes’ optimization and to productivity growth. The good understanding of the Bosch process by our team of developers was reflected in the very little time Bosch employees spent to explain the requirements and write the specifications. Our specialists also helped in defining concepts and finding technical solutions to reduce costs.
